SAMT programs develop knowledge, practical judgment and a path toward application, while clearly separating online theory from optional field components where defined.
Program and certificate status
SAMT programs are independent guidance/training programs. They are not presented as regulator- or education-accredited programs unless a separate approved source explicitly says so. Current SAMT certificates are internal completion certificates, not government licences or professional accreditation.
Flight-to-Field

The current framework connects knowledge, planning, flight, application and debrief without implying that every program physically includes every stage.

The current model does not include a simulator stage, and SAMT does not claim simulator-based training in these programs.

Foundation · Online Only · 4 days / 24 hours
SAMT-107
A structured regulatory and operational knowledge foundation for remote-pilot work, with Saudi/GACA context as the primary frame.
- Does not issue a licence or regulatory approval
- FAA Part 107 content, when used, is reference context rather than a Saudi licensing requirement
- Useful as a knowledge base before testing or specialist development
Foundation · Online 3 days / 18 hours
SAMT-FLY
Aircraft control fundamentals, preparation, batteries, takeoff/landing concepts, maneuvering and operational safety.
- Optional separate field add-on: 1 day
- Does not claim to make a participant a professional pilot by itself
- Can support later specialist paths without being a universal mandatory prerequisite
Specialist / Applied · Online 3 days / 18 hours
SAMT-CINE
Aerial photography and cinematic language: camera settings, composition, aircraft/gimbal movement, shot planning and continuity.
- Optional field add-on: normally 1–3 days and may expand for larger teams
- Shot planning and footage review are part of the approved direction
- Completion alone is not a claim of professional cinematographer status
Specialist / Technical · Online 5 days / 30 hours
SAMT-GEO
Drone-enabled spatial data collection covering mission planning, GSD, overlap, GNSS/RTK/PPK, photogrammetry, LiDAR and QA/QC.
- Optional field add-on: normally 1–3 days and may expand with scope/team size
- LiDAR theory is included; hands-on LiDAR is only stated when equipment and conditions are confirmed
- Does not confer professional surveyor status or guaranteed accuracy
Customized / Modular
SAMT-INS
A flexible specialist inspection program built around Inspection Core, one or more specialist tracks, and field application/review as scoped.
- Oil, Gas & Industrial Utilities
- OHTL / Power-Line Inspection
- May cover RGB / Zoom / Thermal / UV / LiDAR and VT / UT / IR when appropriate to scope and equipment
- No NDT Level I/II, ASNT certification or automatic engineering diagnosis claim

Training on a schedule that fits the need
Individuals do not need to wait for a public cohort. Organizations can request private team delivery, subject to trainer availability and the agreed plan.
Organizations
Dedicated cohorts can be tailored around the team, and field days/hours may expand for larger groups to preserve practical application time.
